IJMB stands for Interim Joint Matriculation Board and it’s a nine months Programme which grants you admission into 200 Level of any Nigerian Universities. The A-Level Programme is moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) with accredited centres across states in Nigeria. IJMB has been certified to operate by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC). It is an alternative to gaining admission into University in Nigeria. IJMB was set up so as to cater for candidates who couldn’t gain admission into their preferred institution for one reason or the other or for those who need another alternative to University admission as the programme only requires your O’ level Result (Awaiting Result Candidates Can Also Apply). The programme is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Art or Social Science. It’s good to know that IJMB is fully recognized by 80% of Nigerian federal, state and private universities which can be seen on item 2.2 of JAMB BROCHURE.

There are many Universities that accept IJMB programmes, that’s over 70% of the total number of Universities in Nigeria. Nigerian higher institutions have been admitting student’s holding such result’s into their undergraduate programmes. IJMB 2020/2021 Registration

    The date for the registration of the upcoming session one of the leading A’level programs in Nigeria is not yet out. The time to start the registration for the 2020/2021 IJMB registration form is by October and November of which lecture is expected to commence immediately after the last paper for the current session which is IJMB 2019. The exact date for the commencement of the 2020/2021 IJMB form is not known yet, but  all necessary information and important dates are available on this IJMB website which is https://ijmb.com.ng/  Those who registered late for the ongoing IJMB session and do not resume early might be advised to wait for the next session which is the 2020 IJMB. So, if you have registered and have not resumed, you are advised to resume immediately.

Proceed to pay the fee for the form which is #8,000 to the account number below.

When you are done with the payment, fill the form you printed out with capital letters. Attach your passport to the space created for it on the form. Return back to the nearest cyber cafe to you and scan the form you have already filled, and also scan the copy of the teller you were issued at the bank. Send all the scanned data to ijmbway@gmail.com and ensure it’s sent via your own personal email or an email you have access to. Within 24 hours, a reply will be sent to you via the email you used to send the scanned data to us, the email will include other few details you need to know as an IJMB student. The total fees you will be paying for the period of your IJMB programme with us in any of our study centres is #168,000 till you write your final examination which is always due by February every year. From when you resumed at your study centre till February when you will write your final exam, all you will be doing is receive thorough lectures to get you prepared. Candidates who are interested in IJMB  A-Level Programme are expected to make selection of any THREE (3) A’Level  IJMB Subject (English compulsory). This Combination must be related to the courses they intend to study at the University. All candidates should also note that courses are available for Science, Art and Social Science, ensuring they make the selection as applied to their intended courses. IJMB A-Level Programme will run for the period of nine months across all our accredited study centres after which the final examination will be conducted by February. After the successful completion of IJMB A-Level programme, candidates who scored the required minimum points and above can then use their IJMBE certificate to process admission into 200 Level in any University of Lagos, via direct entry.


One of the major benefits of IJMB Certificate is that it expires after seven (7) years, means you can seek admission with an IJMB result or certificate for  7 years.

                    WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE IJMB

–          The number of those that have secured admission with IJMB in the last few years has increased and many choose ijmb ahead of Jamb.

–          There are different institutions that accept ijmb in Nigeria and all admitted student will be offered admission into 200 level.  This is approved by the Nigerian University Council (NUC).

–          Payment on instalment is allowed. Fees can be paid gradually, that is, up to 3 times within the 9 months of studying.

–          IJMB Result does not expire like JAMB result, remember that it takes 7 year’s before it expires and this gives one ample time to secure direct entry admission into University of choice.
